Two major ecumenical events in northeast Florida

Second Ecumenical Evensong, St John’s Episcopal Cathedral, Jacksonville, Florida, Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. All are invited. Security and traffic control to be provided.

Sixth Flagler [County] Ecumenical Celebration of Unity in Prayer and Song, Saturday, January 24, 2015, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136All are invited. Security and traffic control to be provided.

FREE ADMISSION. All are welcome.

Eight churches will be participating:

  2. First United Methodist Church of Bunnell
  3. Flagler Beach United Methodist Church
  4. Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Palm Coast
  5. Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast
  6. Saint Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church, Palm Coast
  7. Saint Thomas Episcopal Church, Palm Coast
  8. Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, Flagler Beach

Reception with refreshments from 3 to 4 p.m. in Social Hall.

Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church is the big round structure visible from the SR 100 bridge. Take a left turn into Daytona Ave North.

Ample parking on church lots on North Daytona Avenue (west side) between 8th and 10th Streets North. No parking on North Central Blvd or at entrance to church, but passengers may be dropped off. Golf carts will also be available to take people from the parking lots to the church entrance.

Security and traffic control to be provided by the Flagler Beach Police Department.
